So, here's the story...
 

Andrea Hamilton opened her first eBay store in early 2005 selling her art in the form of hand paintings of favorite dog breeds on handbags and sunglasses. She found fulfillment in painting animals and when her painted pooch accessories met immediate success she built a full time business out of doing what she loved. Hamilton enjoys not only the work but also the overall cheerful,  down-to-earth nature of her customers.

In 2009 Hamilton began recreating the same beloved dog breeds she'd painted for years as expressive ink illustrations which she licenses to Cafe press and Zazzle to print on over 100 different everyday items like t-shirts, mugs, coasters, and other gifts. She sells her original drawings as well.

Hamilton's unique art items have made their way into homes of dog lovers all over the globe, from her local U.S. town of Jensen Beach, Florida to countries in Asia, South America, Middle East, and Europe. But even with such a large scale marketplace, Hamilton likes to keep her focus on the small things, like the personal touches in packaging and honoring repeat customers.

To stay encouraged and focused, Hamilton does have a silent partner in the business-her Boston Terrier. He has his very own space in her studio complete with comfortable bedding and toys, and frequently spends his days happily by her side.

Although Hamilton has no plans to replace dogs as her primary "muse" for future artwork, she has already begun to recreate other animals she loves in her original illustrations. She is sure you will be seeing other favorite critters among her works very soon.

Hi! I needed to let you know that I purchased your DG fox terrier sunglasses as a birthday gift for a good friend of mine who now has 2 fox terriers and her {initials are} D.G.
